Interconnected: Managing multiple chronic cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions

At Boehringer Ingelheim, we’re passionate about improving care for the more than one billion people living with interconnected cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CRM) diseases. That includes conditions like diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart failure and liver diseases like metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).

Our mission is to protect people from the consequences of these diseases. People living with metabolic conditions like type 2 diabetes, for example, face a higher risk of developing chronic kidney disease. We therefore advocate for a shift from fragmented solutions to integrated approaches that focus on prevention and treatment.
